Now, let’s get onto the reason you’re here – the main training in product launch formula!
(Module 1) – YOUR LAUNCH FOUNDATION
Module 1 dives straight into the core strategies and tactics of Product Launch Formula.
This is about some of the core elements that make Product Launch Formula so powerful. By the end of this module, you’ll understand the 5 core types of launches (and when to use them), the Sideways Sales Letter, as well as how to use sequences, stories, positioning, and mental triggers to create a great launch.
It consists of 14 lessons, and should take you a couple of hours to complete, assuming you’re taking notes like you should.
If you only go through module 1, you’re going to learn how to build a relationship, how to have a conversation with your prospects, your clients, your customers, and that will make all the difference in your business – all the difference in your marketing.
You’ll, of course, want to complete all of the modules – but module 1 truly is a game-changer.
Remember, PLF is about how to launch products, businesses, brands – but it’s also how to build yourself a business and a brand.
(Module 2) – YOUR LAUNCH PLAN
This module of PLF covers setting yourself up for success by creating a strong plan and a clear roadmap to follow for your first launch.
By the end of this module, you’ll know how to identify your niche, avatar, assets, and goals – plus how to build and warm your list.
You’ll also understand which type of launch to start with depending on where you’re at in your business. Your plan won’t be perfect; you’ll adjust things as you go through the process. Taking the time to do these exercises and steps is important and can make all the difference in your launch.
This lesson will help you understand how to lay the groundwork for a great launch. Download the product launch formula Success Path Planner, a step-by-step summary of this module that will help you plan out your launch.
I won’t go into detail on sequences now as I:
a.) don’t want to bore you
b.) can’t give away EVERYTHING.
(Module 3) – The Pre-Pre Launch
Module 3 of PLF consists of 11 lessons. Up until now most of the content has been conceptual and high level. Going forward you’re going to get into the nitty-gritty.
In the Pre-Prelaunch you begin to engage your prospects in a conversation and in doing so, you’re beginning to activate your tribe (or start building a tribe if you don’t have one yet) without actually trying to sell them anything.
The primary objective of the Pre-Prelaunch is to build buzz for what’s to come, and unlike other aspects of your launch, this phase of the process isn’t as structured. The ‘Pre-Pre’ can be a single email or multiple emails / touch points. Do what works for you. The point is to build buzz and excitement and create a strong conversation with your prospects.
The Pre-Prelaunch is also a time when you refine your offer by identifying objections and gathering testimonials. During this phase you’re also warming your list and generally getting a sense for how receptive the market will be to your offer.
After going through it, I was actually quite impressed. I hate to admit, I was not familiar with this concept, and I may have to try it out! It’s a bit of work (but again, this is a REAL business), but the experience AND income you can generate with this is mind-blowing!
There’s also a few student Pre-Launch case studies that are MUST sees!
(Module 4) – PreLaunch Content
Module 4 of PLF consists of 10 lessons. Up until now most of the content has been conceptual and high level. Going forward you’re going to get into the nitty-gritty.
Your Prelaunch Content, when done right, helps your potential buyers understand the pportunity, the Transformation, and the Ownership Experience promised by your product.
By the end of this module, you’ll know how to create each of these pieces of content, how to get people onto your launch list, and what to mail during your Prelaunch.
(Module 5) – Open Cart
This module of PLF contains 9 lessons, and you’re going to want to pay attention, because the Open Cart is when you finally start taking orders!
But it doesn’t stop there… The Open Cart is a sequence, with key messages delivered every day (and several messages delivered on the last day). During this time, you resolve the overall PS Path of your Prelaunch. This is where you solve the problem you set up in your pre-launch content #3 (the solution being to purchase your product).
By the end of this module, you’ll know exactly what you need at every step of the way, from your Open Cart email sequence to how to script your sales video.
(Module 6) – Internal & Seed Launches
This massive module of PLF contains 13 lessons, and will defintiely take you bit of time to complete.
This module will introduce you to these two types of launches and when to use them in your business. Download the Internal Launch Planner and the Seed Launch Planner – step-by-step guides for planning and executing each of these launches.
The Internal Launch:
This type of launch is ideal when you have a product that’s already been tested in the marketplace and you have an email list.
Basically, this is a launch that is just to your list, where you have no affiliates or joint venture partners.
With the Internal Launch, you’re not using affiliates or joint venture partners. You’re doing it just to your list.
With the Internal Launch, you’re usually going to get bigger results than a Seed Launch or Quick Launch.
It’s more work than a Quick Launch, it’s more work than a Seed Launch, but you’re generally going to get bigger results.
This is the next step up. If you go back to Module 1, in that circle of awesome, Jeff talked about how it basically goes from a Seed Launch, to an Internal Launch, to a JV Launch. You don’t have to go in that order but that’s the classic routine.
THAT is what this module goes into, and it’s honestly very, very exciting!
The Seed Launch:
What if you spend all your time building a cool product, but nobody buys?
In this lesson, you’ll learn about the Seed Launch, which is a strategy you can use to get paid to create a product you know your market will buy.
The key thing with a Seed Launch is that it revolves around having a conversation with your list, and especially a conversation with the people that buy from you and it enables you to create a great product.
Here’s a Video from Jeff Himself talking about the Seed Launch, and giving you just a SMALL taste of what’s instore for you with PLF!
At the end of the day, the best way to have a great business is to have a great product. I see so many people struggling to create products, and sometimes creating products that aren’t great or they might be great but they’re not great for the people that bought from you. The Seed Launch allows you to get by all of that, all of that. It’s super, super powerful.
The seed launch is a great place to start. One of the beautiful things is you create the product after you get paid for it. You sell your program before you create it.
If you don’t have a list, if you don’t have a product, this is also the easiest way to create a product, because you do it LIVE, then record it and re-sell it later as a complete product!
(Module 7) – The Joint Venture (JV) Launch
This 8 lesson module of product launch formula is where you learn to attract, train, and work with partners who will promote your product for you. By the end of this module you’ll be able to take what you learned about the Internal Launch and use it to create a Joint Venture Launch.
Anyway, Module 7 is about the Joint Venture Launch, and it’s like pouring gasolineon a fire.
So if you take Product Launch Formula, this amazing formula for launching, and you pourgasoline or petrol on it, what happens? It just explodes, and that’s what this type of launch is about.
For example, before Jeff Walker ever did a Joint Venture or an Affiliate Launch, the best Launches he ever did were right around $100,000, which was amazing.
But the first time he did a Joint Venture Launch: $600,000.
It was six times bigger than my biggest Internal Launch. The second time he did a Joint Venture Launch: $3.7 million or 37 times better than his best ever Internal Launch.
Needless to say this is a VERY powerful method, BUT you want to make sure you do things in order. Don’t get so excited that you skip over the internal launch or seed launch.
Regardless of WHEN you do your first JV Launch, this is a great module to go through just tounderstand what goes into it and just to understand who you’re going to want to attract and recruit as a joint venture partner because it’s a long-term strategy.
This is another layer of complexity that gets added on top of your regular Internal Launch. So, again, it might not be your first launch, but it’s still great to go through this module just to start to get these strategies ingrained in your thinking.
(Module 8) – The Evergreen Launch
This module of product launch formula is where you take your entire Internal Launch sequence and put it on autopilot. By the end of this module you’ll be able to take the concepts and strategies of the Internal Launch and adapt them to the Evergreen Launch.
So, in this module you’ll learn that like the JV Launch, this isn’t where you’re going to start out. This isn’t going to be your first launch.
Jeff explains that with the Evergreen Launch, that’s where you take your Internal Launch, allthe work you did for your Internal Launch or your JV Launch, and you turn it to a launch that works for you every single day. So, you have new leads coming into your business all year long.
Basically with the Evergreen Launch, that’s where you take your Internal Launch, all the work you did for your Internal Launch or your JV Launch, and you turn it to a launch that works for you every single day. It’s a great strategy. It’s an advanced strategy. It’s not your first launch, but it’ssuper powerful.
(Module 9) – Business Launch Formula
Module 9 of product launch formula is the final main training module in Product Launch Formula. It’s where you get a roadmap for building your business with launches. By the end of this module you’ll know how to build out multiple products and offers to your list with the different types of launches you’ve learned about in Product Launch Formula.
Here’s one VERY important takeaway that Jeff said in this module:
“I don’t want you to just do a launch, have one big payday and then put this course on a shelf and like move on to something new. Because the reality is I’m over 20 years in now and I’ve never stopped launching. I launch every single year, multiple times a year. I’ve built a serious business with a serious team. A huge global footprint that just grows and grows and grows. And I’ve done that by strategically using my launches to build my business.”
So that’s what Module 9 is all about. It’s about building your business – the Business Launch Formula.
